What you will do:
  • Perform research, analysis, design validation, prototyping and fault analysis in the development of new embedded electronic hardware products and equipment.
  • Circuit design, schematic capture and PCB design; facilitate software development, programming & testing and provide written technical documentation ~ including BOMs, schematics, wiring/cabling diagrams, fabrication drawings and PCB assemblies of all electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Provide Electronic/Electrical support for Production team as required, equipment repairs, PC board modification and occasional production assistance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Electronics/Design and/or CS with 5+ years of related experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.             
  • Hydraulic systems knowledge, CAN bus, BLE, WiFi, battery charge management, Mixed Signal (RF, ADC/DAC, Analog/Digital), closed-loop control systems, power conversion.
  • Experience in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Visual Basic, Visual Studio, HDL, Visio, MS Project, Ladder Logic or similar.
  • CAD software expertise (Altium preferred).
  • Test lab equipment knowledge (oscilloscope, logic analyzers, power supplies, multimeters and temp chambers).
  • MUST have excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly in the development of project documentation) and an ability to collaborate in a team environment.
